Our agency submitted our LOA to China and should arrive at the CCAA as early as tomorrow. We will anxiously be waiting for our travel approval hopefully in the next 2-4 weeks. Also, we should be receiving a Departure Pack from our agency tomorrow. Not sure what all this involves, but should be some basic information to get prepared for travel.
Visa applications were submitted to the Chinese Consulate in Chicago today via courier. It takes 4 days to process the applications at the Consulate, so we should have the information back in our hands in about one week.
We have been slowly gathering items to pack for our trip based on suggestions/web sites of people that have already been through this. With all the things on the list, I'm not sure that there will be much room for clothes!
