Nan-Yue King and Five Rams Statue
Today we toured a museum that contained the mausoleum of the Nan-Yue King, as well as visiting the Five Rams Statue in Guangzhou. The museum was very interesting and filled with artifacts from over 2000 year ago. The park with the Five Rams Statue was beautiful and full of amazing landscape. The story behind the statue was interesting as well as it speaks of how the Cantonese people were taught how to grow rice in order to survive.
The rest of the day was spent wandering through the shops, visiting with new friends, and playing with Avery. She continues to make big strides, and more and more of her personality every day. She woke us up playing in her crib this morning, and loves to joke around and play with both mom and dad. She wandered around the room on her own today, which was a very big deal. The picture below was taken after a few messy bites of a biscuit, and it was too cute to clean up before taking the shot.
