Today we received an image of Avery's 'Finding Ad'. This ad was placed in the 'Southern Farmer's Daily' newspaper on 03/20/2007. The finding ad lists all of the abandoned children as a chance for family to claim the child. As you can see Avery is listed as number 288, which is the 288th photo for 2007 in this specific newspaper.
Also included is a shot of the full page of the newspaper. Avery is listed on the bottom row right in the middle.
We are still anxiously waiting for our approval to travel, and hope to hear something very soon.

How sad. So many babies that just want love. Jeanne and Brian, I am in awe of what you are doing and in how you are handling the time apart from you daughter. Hope you get the good news before Thanksgiving. What a thing to be thankful for on Thursday.
