This morning we completed the official adoption medical exam. It consisted of three different rooms, one for weight/height, one for general physical condition, and a hearing exam. It must have gone ok, as we were in and out of the office in a matter of minutes.
Upon completion of the exam, we then spent about 45 minutes completing required US documents in order to bring Avery to the US.
We have completed all of our government appointments until early next week, so we have some sightseeing and tours of some local markets planned for tomorrow and the weekend. Tomorrow we are going to the Safari Park Zoo, which is supposed to be very good.
All is continuing to go well for us in China. Each new day brings new adventure and new milestones with Avery. Her personality is really starting to show now. She is always on the move, and we call her a little silk worm as she wiggles around so much. She has taken a few steps on her own, but prefers to be held by Jeanne. She may be well on her way to being spoiled already!
