It's hard to believe that after all this time, we actually leave for China tomorrow morning. Bags and bags and bags are packed, paperwork seems to be in order, and arrangements appear to all be taken care of.
We spent quite a few minutes giving our kids hugs and telling them goodbye tonight. Riley, in a serious tone, told Jeanne to be sure to go to China and bring home Avery for her. It brought a smile to our faces, and helped fight away the tears.
7:40AM Central, we'll be on our way. The bad part is that it'll be 24 hours later before we actually land in Guangzhou. We'll take 24 hours of flying any day if that's what it takes to bring our little girl home.
We can't name all of you, but THANK YOU to everyone for your prayers, comments, and friendship through this journey. We're not too sure we would have made it this far without your prayers.
The site will be updated as often as we can during our time in China. Thanks again for looking.
