Merry Christmas from Guangzhou! This afternoon our travel group went to the White Swan Hotel to take the famed Red Couch photos. Many adopted children with their travel group buddies have their pictures taken here, and we had to follow suit. Cameras were flashing like crazy in order to get as many pictures taken in a short period of time.
After the photos, we all went for a special Christmas dinner at the Victory Hotel. It was interesting as it was supposed to be a western style meal. It wasn't bad, but I sure do miss our traditional Christmas dinner back home. The picture below is Avery's first piece of cake with mom and dad, and she seemed to love every bite. We also had to take a picture with Santa Claus, saxophone and all.
It was a wonderful Christmas, but we are really missing our children and family back home. Just a few more days and we'll be holding them all in our arms again.

We took Mason with us to the Blue and Gold Tournament in Springfield last night. Had a great time. Your mom is doing great. Such a wonderful woman. We are praying for your safe return and can't wait to meet Avery.
