It's been a little while since we have posted to the blog. We have all been busy with work, basketball, and of course, Avery! Everything is going great at the Sadler house, and it appears that Avery has transitioned perfectly to her new surroundings. She loves playing with her brothers and sister, and they sure love playing with her.
Avery had her first doctor appointment, and it was full of lab work. Needed to make sure she was up to date with her immunizations, no parasites, and needed something for a bad case of eczema. She was a trooper with the lab work, and really didn't do too bad. Her youngest brother didn't handle it very well, and almost fainted when they started the blood draw. Avery is healthy, and right on schedule developmentally, which was great news to hear.
We are going to St. Louis in a couple of weeks to have a craniofacial team review her lip surgery and see what they recommend for the alveolar bone defect.
Now that life is getting a little bit back to normal, our next goal is to send some Christmas cards. They'll be about a month late, but we are determined to get them sent!
