We received some very brief updated information about Avery today. The last information we had was taken from when she was 7 months old.
When looking at the stats on a Chinese Growth Chart for girls, she seems to be little. The updated information says the following:
28 Inches Tall
17.6 Pounds
6 teeth, 3 top and 3 bottom
She is an early riser, so she'll fit in very well with her brothers and sister, and gets up at 6AM.
We also received instructions from her orphanage on how to prepare formula/cereal mixture. We could figure that one out, but we sure do appreciate anything that they are willing to share with us.
We did not receive any updated photos, which would have been really nice. Hopefully we'll see her for ourselves in the next few weeks.
Our Visas are on their way back to our home as well. Now we just need the travel approval!

HI! That is small by US standards, but pretty good for Asian. Emma is almost 21.5 months, and only weighs about 19.5 pounds, but she is 31.5 inches tall. She is just under the 5th percentile in weight, and the 30th in height, which is good for an Asian child. Avery will be just perfect! And, it's nice to have a "little baby" for a while! I hope your TA comes very soon! Blessings, Regina
It will then be true what they say "great things come in small packages" She will be perfect in your eyes and her Creator's eyes. Nothing else matters.
I can only imagine what your nights must be like knowing you are one day closer to holding your little girl! We are so excited for you guys. Words just can't express it!
